CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 Compliance

BeeMatch does not send spam, and doesn't let anyone send it for us. We follow the US CAN-SPAM Act of 2003: we only email people who joined BeeMatch, and every email we send tells you who it's from and how to stop getting it.

What We Send

When you join BeeMatch we send you:

  • Account messages: confirming your email address, resetting your password, and changes to your account or membership. These are part of having an account, so they still come after you unsubscribe.
  • Activity alerts: new messages, likes, matches and profile views.
  • Announcements and offers from BeeMatch.

Text messages are only sent if you add your mobile number and confirm it. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

How to Stop Our Emails and Texts

  • Click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any of our emails. It works straight away, without signing in.
  • Choose exactly which emails and texts you get under Settings > Email & Text Notifications.
  • Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop all texts (reply HELP for help).
  • Or use the e-mail removal form below.

We act on every request immediately, and always within 10 business days as the law requires.

Anyone Promoting BeeMatch

Partners, affiliates and anyone else promoting BeeMatch must follow the CAN-SPAM Act and every other law on commercial email and texts. In particular they must only email people who have agreed to hear from them, use accurate sender details and honest subject lines, include a working opt-out in every message, and label sexually explicit email "SEXUALLY-EXPLICIT:" as the FTC requires. Anyone who sends spam promoting BeeMatch is removed immediately and is responsible for any claims that result.
